So it glides seamlessly across your skin cutting hairs completely off. The Panasonic ES-LV95-S Arc5 provides a powerful yet gentle shave with the shaving sensor technology, this is great for sensitive skin. In dry mode, the blade angles fit to your skin and cut close but smoothly across, though if you are worried there is always wet mode. In wet mode, this shaver performs very well when using it with shaving foam or gel. This way sensitive skin isn’t harmed or irritated in anyway and you still get a close shave.

Battery Life

This shaver comes with a powerful Lithium Ion battery and a full charge takes only 1 hour. Shaving time take around 45 minutes shorter than some older Panasonic models. However, you can still get a good few shaves which produce amazing results out of one charge. Due to its dual function system, this shaver can be charged and cleaned at the same time for convenience. However, when put into the station it cannot do the functions separately. Meaning it must clean and charge at the same time. Thankfully the shaver does come with an additional charging cable.

Cleaning and Care

This is the first Panasonic electric shaver that comes with a dual function station that cleans and charges. Because of this you can save a lot of time and effort. You just need to fill the station with a bit of water so that the shaver head is submerged. You can also add some of the cleaning fluid provided in the box. Then you simply put the shaver inside the station upside down and press the button to begin cleaning. Then wait 90 minutes and presto you have a fully clean and charged shaver. If you need guidance there is a comprehensive instruction booklet included in the box.

One of the special features already mentioned in the cleaning/charging station which makes your life so much easier when it comes to shaving. Another feature is the pop-up trimmer at the back of the shaver, which is surprisingly very effective compared to a lot of razors. The Panasonic ES-LV95-S Arc5 also comes with a 10-stage LED display which shows how much shave time there is left, battery usage, if the blades need replacing, sensor mode and a cleaning reminder.
